We had a rough travel time with a storm, we booked thru 3rd party at another La Quinta but was unable to make it. La Quinta was able to release our reservation and we re-booked at this one. They were limited on animal available rooms, or I should say didn't have any. But were able to still get us in a room with our animals. Which is grateful because there was a big storm and we didn't want to travel in it anymore. The room was nice and they were able to accommodate was even being a little late for the breakfast time.
We felt the price we paid was not worth the facility, location, and state of the rooms. There is a nicer, much newer location about 10 minutes away that is comparable in price and in a much better location. The smoke alarm went off on the middle of the night which was followed by sirens. (It was an accidental alarm) There is a train that goes right by the hotel, so that's something to be mindful of. The pictures on the website make the rooms look new and updated but that wasn't the case at all. There's an old feel to the rooms and decor. Otherwise it wasn't a bad stay, we just feel there are better choices in the area.
Decent hotel, convenient to town and interstate, although it's a little too close to the interstate for my taste, a little inconvenient to get in to. Rooms were very clean, and ours had a great setup! Didn't like the exterior entry for all the rooms, or the lack of an elevator when you have small kids and too much luggage. Breakfast day 1 was so good and hot. Day 2 breakfast was cold and not great at all. Though there was a newer girl manning the breakfast that morning. Staff was friendly and helpful!
Not the best. When we were checked in, we we're given a room that already had people in it. We scared these people pretty good trying to open the door after midnight when we finally arrived. No apology offered by front desk person but I was offered a $50 discount for my trouble. But seriously, how do you double book a room like that?! Train noise is an issue here and this is an older hotel. If I had to do it again, we'd stay at the other La Quinta in town in hopes of a better experience. Disappointed.
It was nice breakfast nice pet playground. Rooms had everything. Microwave coffee fridge Wi-Fi charging station very clean and safe. Staff was helpful and friendly. Very good
