Sara, the GM, provides over-the-top customer service. You don't usually find this kind of customer service around here with labor so scarce right now, but Sara sets the bar high. We had several VIP guests staying here and she was very accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure they were taken care of. She also volunteered to personally move my colleague's things to another room when he had to switch rooms unexpectedly. I wouldn't hesitate to book any events or VIP stays here at all. I know Sara will handle them expertly.
Never provided service to our room...we stayed there multiple nights. I told them and they didn't seem concerned. I guess I was because we paid well over $100 a night and expected decent over all service. This was something we did not get.
I was at another Hotel the internet kept dropping and the elevator broke. I stopped at the Marriott to see if they had a room, WOW what an upgrade for even a better rate and room. Internet is fast and amenities are awesome.
Me and my wife moved our daughter to UTPB and we stayed at this hotel. We asked for a 7am wake-up call so we could say good bye to our child as she had an invent that morning and we needed to see her before 8am... THE PHONE NEVER RANG... We inquired why we did not get a wake up call and we were told "can we give you a breakfast voucher".. Nothing from the GM, I believe is Sara, nothing from anyone except that the poor gal at the front desk apologized however she was the only one who said a word.. My wife and I have stayed at this property before so you would think the GM would at least call us and say something but no, she let her front desk employee do this... If customer service is important, the GM at this property by her actions alone showed she really does not care....
Nice hotel. The rooms are brand new, and the restaurant is decent. No free breakfast, and the rates are absolutely sky high. There are plenty of eating and drinking options within a close walking distance. Highly recommend the Cork and Pig, the Saltgrass Steakhouse, and The Egg and I.
