Literally positioned in oil fields. Water isn't even safe to drink. All you can smell is whatever they are fracking for. Natural gas? Sulfur? Whatever it is, it's horrific. Probably will never drive through this area of Texas again.
What a great spot to visit and stay even for one day. Quite off the beaten path and perfect for my wife Jennifer and I. Thank you to Mary and to Mr Patrick for your hospitality. We stayed here for 7 months and we loved it! Its a safe and quite place, staff is super friendly and felt very welcomed! Highly recommend staying here.
Wonderful accommodating staff. Slips are rough and our 43' Class A sunk in our first slip. They were good about letting us move.
