I can't thank Dr Wills and her staff enough for everything they do for my dogs/fosters. The clinic is always clean, the receptionist is welcoming and all the vet techs are professional. Today, I took my foster in because she stopped breathing. She was taken in to an oxygen tank within seconds of our arrival. Dr. Wills explained everything in detail, and made me feel comfortable to leave her in capable hands. She even allowed us to see her in the back before we left. The pricing was great and fair compared to other emergency clinics I have been to. Everything was smooth and stress free considering the situation and how scared I was. We are so lucky to have West Texas Emergency Clinic and Dr. Wills..
The people was VERY RUDE and treat me and my husband as if we weren't going to pay. When he left to get the check to pay while I stayed behind to see my dog, they told me not to leave until he gets back!!! I understand having to put so much on the bill when you do a payment plan but on top of wanting to have a CC on file, they wanted to put a charge on it. Then there was a lady that we overheard that came from Lubbock to have her dog looked at and even though she been there numerous times for the same issue, just because she didn't have her ID they refused to see her. What kind of place does that. ANIMAL LIVES MATTER TOO.
Drove all the way from Midland and waited over 2 hours and my Dog was NEVER seen. And no there wasnt a crowd. The lady at the front desk is LAZY and doesnt care anything about customer service. She had owners weighing their own pets and did not wipe the scale down after dogs that were not vaccinated used the same scale . When I decided to walk out I told her the least she could do was apologize for wasting nearly 2 and a half hours of my time, her response thats ok. If you need anything dont go here .
Going to an emergency vet visit is never ideal. However, I was very pleased with this clinic. My dog was attacked by the neighbors dog and needed to have staples. Sure I waited for a while, but more injured animals get seen first, and I went at a peak time. When my baby was seen, she was treated right, and I was also so relleaved at the price. A fraction of the cost the other emergency vet I went to before was. ( another dog different circumstance). If you need a vet in an emergency, I would 100% recommend them.
