The Academy store in Odessa Texas is all shambled due to the remodeling nobody knew where anything was nothing works properly so it will be awhile before I even go back there.
Tons of variety and some really good deals. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that sometimes it's like pulling teeth to get assistance or even a smile. I've even had staff walk away from me after making eye contact.
Cheap stuff, lower end on quality, and limited knowledge. Best quality and highly superior knowledge at Gun Sport, Ltd. corner of Dixie and University in Odessa, Texas.
They got the store in a big mess. Everything is missed priced, stood in line for half an hour, than an item ringed up as twice as much as marked, told her there was an end cap filled with them all marked at the same price, waited another 20 minutes and told that the price is going stay 15 not 8, just trying to get out of the house, wish there was more to do in this town wasn't in a hurry though I should have just stay home and order everything off of Amazon, I declined the sale and just walked out, I'll go home and order them off of Amazon for 6 dollars and wait two days for them to arrive, I think I'm finally done with the hassle of these stores waiting in line and having to wait on them to get there item pricing right, think I'll try to figure out something else to do for entertainment than shop ...
Very nice, clean and always orderly. Every employee that saw us offered to help. Found what I was looking all over town for at a great price.
